Hey, I’m Dallas Zipperer. IT guy by day, author by night. I mean that literally, I get almost all my writing done at night. I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember, scribbling lines in a notepad and proudly telling any story I could come up with (I was four).
I write short stories every week, usually exploring grief or trauma. There’s comedy, action, and I vary between the real world, fantasy, and science fiction. I’ll also be blogging and writing essays regarding the craft itself, as a way for me to synthesize the things I’m learning.
This all began over ten years ago, but only recently have I started taking the craft seriously. I’m reading intentionally, joined a writing group, and started the Ray Bradbury Challenge which led me here, to a space to call my own and a place for my art.
